Week 1: Close The Gap

Has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; Heb. 1:2 (NKJV)
Determine to be more!
God spoke to us through the prophets
Has spoken to us by His Son
Jesus is the express image of His person
Jesus is better
Things that keep us from Closing the Gap - We don't see the “Jesus is better”
Your identity is not your past…God is your future!

Week 2: The Message

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. Heb. 2:17 (NKJV)

The Gift
The Deliverance
The message is about Jesus and the deliverance He offers!
Focus on the Message!

Week 3: Jesus and His Rest

Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion. Heb. 3:15 (NKJV)
Consider Jesus
Jesus is faithful
We should be faithful
Enter His rest
Focus on Jesus and His Rest!

Week 4: Focus on Holiness

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Heb. 4:16 (NKJV)
Be diligent to enter that rest
Hold fast our confession
Run to Jesus, not from Him!
True Rest comes from Holiness!

Week 5: Focus on the High Priest

though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. Heb. 5:8-9 (NKJV)
The days of His flesh - how He lived
Eternal Salvation - what He provided
High Priest - who He is
He came to our rescue!

Week 6: Focus on Our Advocate

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Heb. 7:25 (NKJV)
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah
Bringing a “Better Hope”
The surety of a “Better Covenant”
We have an Advocate with the Father!

Week 7: Focus: Go Hard or Go Home

Let us go on to perfection… Heb. 6:1 (NKJV)
Maturity is a choice
Maturity requires diligence
Maturity’s Focus is the presence of God in your life
