Worship

Welcome

The Worship Community of Alliance Baptist Church

What is Worship? Simply put, it is attributing worth to God and placing Him at the top of our thought process and priority list. It is remembering that “He must increase, and I must decrease.”

Worship

Worship is not about a song, but about the way we live our lives. Worshiping together is a priority in the life of Alliance Baptist Church. The worship team does not perform for the congregation, but for an audience of One. Through our worship, we are committed to leading others toward a deeper connection with Christ.

Believing God will use all means available to capture hearts, our worship service blends contemporary styles, traditional gospel, media, and drama, to bring the willing worshiper into a personal encounter with Him. Members involved in the Worship Ministry are first and foremost, lead worshipers of the Almighty God. Seeking to use all of our talents and abilities to bring praise to God – our worship team would ideally include a variety of musical instruments (guitars, percussion, keyboards, strings, -wins), vocalist, ensembles, and choir.

ACT

Our ministry team would be incomplete with music alone. As such, there are many other areas of service within the worship ministry. Alliance Creative Team (ACT) members perform short dramas or comedy skits that add value to our worship topics, and occasionally prepare full length productions for special events. Our Media Team includes those operating audio and visual equipment during services, video camera operators, and stage hands. In addition, office aids are essential to the administration of this vibrant ministry.

The worship community at Alliance Baptist Church just might be – A Place for You!

Opportunities to Serve

About Practicing:

Practices are a perfect time to sit in and explore this service opportunity. Typical practice times are listed, however, practices may be added or cancelled based on the current demands of the ministry.
